As we look back on the work we completed throughout the Summer of 2022, I would like to wish everyone a safe and productive year in the remaining months ahead. As many of you are aware, NM811 has returned to normal operations following the recent coronavirus changes affecting our lives at both home and work. Our staff is excited to once again pursue outreach activities directed at educating contractors, excavators and the public we serve on the importance of safety and damage prevention associated with working on or near underground utility facilities throughout the State of New Mexico.
I would also like to extend an invitation all our members, contractors, excavators and damage prevention partners to attend this year’s NM811 annual membership meeting which has been scheduled to coincide with this year’s Annual 2022 NMRCGA Damage Prevention Summit to be held October 25-27, 2022.
Finally, I would once again like to thank the dedicated staff of the New Mexico One-Call Center who are the backbone of this organization and who work so hard to support the needs of our membership. I have appreciated their hard work and willingness to assist others in addressing and coordinating the numerous activities associated with the day-to-day operations and state-wide outreach activities throughout the year.
